I was so lucky to be picked for a design team. The first challenge - which can be found over on he cupboard trilogy blog - had me scrapping for the first time in ages. I used all stampin up supplies. Papers are the called enchanted garden. It's very simple and easy to achieve using square punched - also from
Stampin up. Hope you will pop over to the blog and join in!

Candle
Can't believe today's prompt was candle since I used that yesterday! Anyhoo, I ignored it and this is shelby stitching her rag doll at the class we did together today.

fluffy
I knew exactly what I was going to take a photo of when I saw today's prompt.
If Shelby were ever to be separated from Sashi I think her world would collapse. He's a white tiger toy from Colchester Zoo and was named after the white tiger that the zoo used to house. Sadly sasha died in 2010, the news of which made Shelby cry. She loved that tiger.

Glowing
I love this lamp mounted on the wall by my back door. It's lovely to stand near. My garden backs on to a church yard so I find the lamp comforting!

pleasurable
You might think that a picture of the bathroom sink is a bit random for a photo prompt entitled pleasurable. However, this is a blog titled "musings of a RANDOM mind! lol. If you look closely enough you will see 3 toothbrushes in the holder. This gives me enormous amount of pleasure because this means that hubby is home on leave. He works away 3 months at a time and just two toothbrushes look very lonely when he is not here!
The next photo is my weekly garden shot. Hmmm nothing much happening there! It's gloomy and miserable that I have NO incentive for getting out there and doing something.

Metal + A whole bunch of stuff.
My metal shot with my iphone - again edited in BeFunkyPro - loving the old photo plus grunge frame.
I couldn't stop there with the metal shots though! - this is of part of the garden gate. Taken with my dSLR - then edited the shadows and highlights after changing it to black and white.
Here is one of the whole gate in colour - again taken with my dSLR and messed about with the shadows and highlights.
Now here is my Monday shot of the garden (I know it's Tuesday!) - Yesterday I had decided not to bother taking a regular photo - today I changed my mind lol.
And the last one! - yesterday for water shot I took a pic of the tap - although I like what I did part of the tap was missing and I wasn't entirely happy with it - so I took it again with my dSLR - I like this one more - I like the bricks slightly out of focus with the tap really sharp. Suzie - you seem to be making a photographer out of me!

water
I didn't take a Monday shot of the garden - since I haven't actually done anything with it lol! However I really wanted to use my dSLR as I'm reading a few on-line tutorials to get me off auto and onto manual! I was reading about ISO speeds and learnt that the lower the light the higher the speed needed. I took this photo of the outside water tap, which is in a corner of the garden that desperately needs tidying! I love the textures of the wall with the hose adaptor. I was pleased with the original photo, which was in colour, and it was grainy as I had expected using 1600 ISO (I learnt that last night lol). I edited the photo in PICNIK and am pleased with the final result.

frost..
I was a bit bummed when I read today's prompt. I had just got in from the school run and had spent 10 mins defrosting the car - all signs of frost had disappeared. I left the prompt until just a minute ago when I though sod it - I'll take a pic of the back of the fridge - that ALWAYS has frost on it! What I took was a very innocuous plastic boring picture. Next came the fun part - playing with the photo in BeFunkyPro. I had asked Suzie which app she thought was best and this was one of her recommendations - I just LOVE it. To get this sort of effect from the very boring photo I took is fabulous! I'm taking all my photos with my iPhone4S. I have a wonderful dSLR but the iPhone is so portable. Thanks Suzie for the app recommendations - I just love them!

Back on the wagon..
Todays prompt for 365+1 was "something that excites me". Must admit I was stumped for a while. I went out to cook dinner for me and fishface and I looked at the pan and thought - WOW! that excites me! The colours of the veg, the farfalle, the fact that it was fat free! I'm back on the weightwatchers bandwagon after the first weigh in of the year yesterday. So there you go - fresh cooked meals excite me! Oh and I'm continuing to have fun with BeFunkyPro!

Pretty
Todays prompt is to take a picture of something pretty. Avoiding the obvious of taking a lovely picture of Shelby I thought I would take a picture of my favourite Christmas decoration. This consists of a bower to which I attach lots of birds. I buy new ones every year and its getting quite cluttered. I know its probably quite freaky to some but I love it! (In case you are wondering why the deccies are still up - Christmas Day for us is on the 21st of January when the lovely Paul (my hubby) comes home on leave!
I had great fun using a couple of apps that Suzie recommended to me today. I used BeFunkyPro on both pictures - I think it will be my new fave app!

New...
So the prompt today was - what's new in your life? A goal of mine this year is to actually do some proper gardening! With that in mind I decided that every Monday I would take this view of my garden as my 365+1 picture - it will be interesting to see how the garden develops (develops! get it! lol) this year!!
